Emergency crews were dispatched to an accident Friday afternoon at the intersection of Lobelia and J. Burns Roads.
The accident involved two vehicles with non-life threatening injuries. One driver was transported to Moore Regional Hospital while the other driver refused transport.
Officials stated the white SUV turned in front of the Jeep while it was going towards Woodlake.
The SUV’s passenger’s side was smashed in with deployed airbags while the windshield was shattered. The Jeep’s front end was damaged as well.
Responding agencies were Moore County Sheriff’s Department, Moore County EMS, North Carolina State Highway Patrol, and Cypress Pointe Fire & Rescue.
