Moore County Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the arrest of Donette Sanders and Kisha Welch for Felony Negligent Child Abuse.
Moore County deputies arrested Donette Lee Sanders, age 39, of Robbins, and charged her with one count of felony negligent child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. Sanders was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond and given an April 24th, 2018 district court date.
Moore County deputies with the assistance of Chatham County Sheriff’s Office also arrested of Kisha Joann Welch, of Bennett, North Carolina and charged her with one count of felony negligent child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury. Welch was placed in the Chatham County Detention Center under a $100,000 secured bond and given an April 23rd, 2018 district court date.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
