Moore County Sheriff’s Department charged a man with committing forcible rape.
Cullen Riley Mills, 20, of Aberdeen was jailed Wednesday under a $300,000 secured bond and charged with two counts of first degree forcible rape, two counts of assault by strangulation, and one count of second degree forcible rape, according to a news release from the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
A report came into the sheriff’s office on July 24 of a possible rape in Cameron.
“As a result, Sheriff’s Office Detectives investigated the incident and discovered two other victims had been assaulted by the same suspect under similar circumstances,” said the news release.
Authorities stated they do not believe these alleged crimes are random.
Mills has a August 14 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the department’s crime tip line at 910-947-4444.
