A local man is behind bars for breaking into several homes in Aberdeen.

Eudy Ulloa Blanco, 26, of Aberdeen, was arrested Wednesday and charged with seven counts of breaking and entering, four counts of larceny after breaking and entering, one count of attempted breaking and entering into a building, one count of felony larceny, and one count of safe cracking.

Blanco is accused of breaking into homes on Bethesda Avenue, Poplar Street, and Fayetteville Street. His alleged crimes took place on March 5, 11, 13, 20, 26, and April 3.

Cash, electronics, and a safe were some of the stolen items.

One of the victims noticed a suspicious man walking in her neighborhood exactly two weeks after her home was broken into.  She called 911, and Aberdeen Police were there within minutes and arrested the suspect.  Minutes before she spotted him, he had just broken into another home in the neighborhood.

Blanco is a convicted felon, having just been released from prison in November after serving over four years for multiple counts of breaking and entering and larceny.

Blanco has an April 25 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
