An Aberdeen Man was arrested for domestic violence and was placed under a $150,000 secured bond.
Benjamin Ross Kirk, 31, from a Kirk Drive address, was arrested Tuesday evening just before 9:00 pm on six charges, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
Kirk was charged with one count of first degree kidnapping, assault by strangulation, assault by pointing a gun, assault on a female, assault on a government official and resisting a public officer.
The news release did not state the relationship between the suspect and victim.
Kirk is currently in the Moore County Detention Center and has a court date on April 24rd.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
