Marta McDowell, garden historian and best-selling author of “All the Presidents’ Gardens” will present at the Healing Garden Society’s Bloom! symposium on Thursday, April 25, in the Cardinal Ballroom at The Carolina Hotel, Pinehurst.
McDowell will trace the fascinating history of how our presidents and their families left their imprint on the White House grounds.
A wine and cheese reception begins at 5:00 p.m. and the author’s presentation begins at 6:00 p.m. Copies of her award-winning book will be available for purchase and signing.
