Jamie Gorczynski, owner and pet sitter of Animal Au Pair of Pinehurst, is bringing her decade-long experience as a professional pet sitter to the residents of Pinehurst.
A wide array of exclusive in-home pet care services are offered such as daily dog walking, pet sitting, overnight stays, and more. Jamie aims to provide reliable, loving care to the furry residents of Pinehurst and 100 percent peace of mind to the pet parents.
Jamie and her family moved to Pinehurst after feeling right at home when visiting the area, saying, “We moved here because we wanted to raise our children in a beautiful, tight-knit community. When I first visited the area, I felt like I had stepped back in time. The quaintness, the history, the people, the pine trees! The charm and vacation-like feel this area has is second to none and I absolutely love it here!”
Moving to Pinehurst meant leaving behind the nearly 300 families Jamie provided loving, reliable pet care to for the last 16 years. Jamie started Animal Au Pair of Fort Mill in 2003 while living in South Carolina and fell in love with her career right away.

After 10 years in the industry, Jamie says, “Being an animal lover, there is nothing better than spending my time with furry kids every day. I am living my dream. To say I love what I do is an understatement! I’ve seen it all and been through it all. I know what to look for to spot an emergency, I have studied animal behavior, I know how to prevent accidents, I understand different breeds and their individual needs” and this understanding is what helps Jamie provide such quality, loving care.
