A. Board Election for Chair and Vice Chair For the purposes of the School Board’s annual reorganization, the
Superintendent serves as temporary chairman. Therefore, in his role as temporary chairman, Dr. Grimesey will preside over the election of the Chair. The elected Chair will, in turn, preside over the election of the Vice Chair. In the event that more than one name is placed into nomination (either office), a paper ballot vote will be conducted and tallied by the school board attorney, who will then report the results.
B. Board Chair’s Signature
Motion: Upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board approves the continued use of the previous Board Chair’s signature stamp until a signature stamp for the new Board Chair is acquired.
