The Junior League of Moore County will be hosting a Human Trafficking Awareness event for teen girls ages 13-17.
The purpose is to empower young women in Moore County to combat the epidemic of human trafficking through self-defense and education. They will have speakers and activities to educate teen girls on the dangers and warning signs of human trafficking as well as a self-defense class. Attendees are encouraged to bring a supportive adult and wear comfortable clothing.
