A Carthage man was arrested for assault and is being held at Moore County Detention Center with no bond.
According to a news release from the Moore County Sheriff’s Department, Travis Lee Perhealth, 34, was arrested on Wednesday morning.
Perhealth was charged with felony assault by strangulation.
Perhealth has a July 10th court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
