Nashville recording artist and rising country star, Clare Dunn will be performing live on stage at the Sunrise Theater, Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Recently named one of CMT’s “Next Women of Country”, Clare Dunn has toured with superstars like Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, and Miranda Lambert. She has performed on legendary stages across the country, from Madison Square Garden to the Grand Ole Opry.

Growing up in Two Buttes, Colorado, Clare Dunn was influenced by classic rock and country music, including Bob Seger, Tina Turner, and Mick Jagger.

She was also a competitive hip-hop dancer which she says still has an impact on her original music today. “Dance still informs so much about my songwriting and producing, so when I’m making music, a lot of times, depending on the song, I think about it from a dance perspective: energy, movement, beats, musicality and phrasing.”

After Clare released her self-produced debut in 2015, SiriusXM’s The Highway put Clare’s flirtatious “Cowboy Side of You” in rotation and fans swarmed. Universal Music Group Nashville took notice, and signed Clare to a recording contract.

Clare’s childhood idol himself, Bob Seger, hand-picked Clare to open for his Ride Out Tour after hearing just one sound check. Clare has been named “One to Watch” by USA Today, Billboard, The Boston Globe, and Rolling Stone.

Clare Dunn will perform her eclectic blend of high-energy classic rock/country music for one night only at the Sunrise Theater. Local country music singer-songwriter Becca Rae will open, with a 15-minute intermission between acts.

Tickets are $25 VIP or $20 Reserved and are available at the Sunrise Theater Box Office, online at SunriseTheater.com, or by calling 910-692-3611.
