A West End man was arrested on cocaine charges Thursday morning and was taken to the Moore County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.

Levar Adam Marsh, 35, was arrested after the Moore County Sheriff’s Office and Taylortown Police Department executed a search warrant for his home in the 100 block of West Montgomery Street in West End, according to information from the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies seized 14 grams of cocaine, 97 grams of marijuana, one firearm, assorted drug paraphernalia and $85 in cash.

Marsh was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, the felony possession of cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, the felony possession of marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for the storage of a controlled substance, the possession of marijuana-paraphernalia and the possession of drug paraphernalia.

Total street value of the seized drugs is $6,700.

Marsh has a February 27th court date, according to Sheriff Godfrey.

 All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
