Video surveillance aided in a breaking and entering investigation in Cameron.

A resident informed Moore County Sheriff’s Office Wednesday property had been stolen from their residence.

After receiving video surveillance of the alleged crime, detectives were able to quickly identify the suspect as Jonathan Christopher Stringfellow, 48, of Cameron, according to an advisory issued by Moore County Sheriff’s Office.

Stringfellow was charged with one count each of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and felony possession of stolen goods. 

The suspect was book at the Moore County Detention Center Thursday just after 2 p.m., according to information from the detention center.

The alleged crime took place on Tuesday, and police said all the stolen property was recovered.

Stringfellow’s bond was set at $5,000. He is due in court on September 4 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
