Firefighters were paged to a structure fire just outside Aberdeen Wednesday afternoon.  When they arrived at the 200 block of Lena Circle, the home had flames and heavy smoke showing and crews were notified there were two dogs still in the home.

As fire crews battled the blaze, firefighters went in search of the animals inside the home. They were able to locate both dogs and bring them out alive to waiting EMS crews who immediately went to work to administer aid and oxygen to the animals. Both dogs were then taken to a local veterinary hospital where they are reported to be in good condition.
