A 24-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital Friday morning around 8:30 am outside of Cameron.
The car was driving on N.C. 24/27 near the U.S. 1 bypass when it flipped over multiple times ejecting the driver. At the time of this report, the extent of the woman’s injuries is not known. Authorities stated that no one else was injured in the accident, and it is not known why the accident occurred.
Responding to the scene were Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue, Southern Pines Fire and Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Office, and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
