Hundreds marched Saturday in Fayetteville Veterans Day Parade as the city celebrated Fort Bragg’s centennial.

Parade-goers marched  through historic downtown Fayetteville with a start on Hay Street ending at Cool Spring and Person Streets.

Roy Hanna, a member of the 82nd Airborne Division during World War 2, led the parade.  Hanna, 102 years old, earned the Distinguished Service Cross for actions in combat.

The theme this year was “A Centennial of Service” commemorating the one hundred years from Armistice Day in 1918- to Veterans Day 2018.
