Fort Bragg troops deploying to Europe

Beginning at 5 a.m., Monday, Jan. 7, some of Fort Bragg’s access control points will change their hours of operation.

“The changes to Fort Bragg’s access control points are intended to increase mission and Soldier readiness,” said Adam Luther, Fort Bragg spokesman. “This will allow our Soldiers to hone their skills for training and real-world deployments.”

The following ACPs will see significant changes to their operating hours:

Reilly Road ACP – open from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. to inbound and outbound traffic; open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to inbound and outbound traffic. Closed on weekends.

Knox Street ACP – closed to all traffic.

Knox Street Truck Plaza – open to commercial vehicles only from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekends.

Knox Street East / MMD – open from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. to inbound and outbound traffic; open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to outbound traffic only. Closed on weekends.

Butner Road ACP – open from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. to inbound and outbound traffic; open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to outbound traffic only. Closed on weekends.

Manchester Road ACP – open from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. to inbound and outbound traffic; open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to outbound traffic only. Closed on weekends.

Randolph Road ACP – will change to 24-hour operations.

Longstreet Road, Chicken Road, Yadkin Road, All American Freeway, Honeycutt Road, Randolph Road, and Simmons Army Airfield access control points will be open 24 hours.
