Do you need help filing your taxes this year? The Southern Pines Library located at 170 W. Connecticut Ave has you covered.
There will be A.A.R.P. trained volunteers to assist middle and low-income seniors in filing tax returns. This is a free service. The program is offered on a first come first served basis. No appointments are offered and you must come in person.
The service is being held Wednesdays and Saturdays until April 14th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The library does not have paper tax forms available in bulk. Southern Pines Library members may reserve an internet computer to download and print a form. Due to the volume of demand, the reference staff cannot download forms for you.
