Rubicon Farm in West End is hosting a special concert to raise money for Haiti Help and Hope. The Sand Band will perform this Sunday, September 10th.  This family friendly benefit is from 4 – 7 pm, and there will be food and drink available for purchase.

The Sand Band is a local band from Pinehurst whose members are David Kellis, Daryle Lemonds, Steve Lapping, Rick Martin, Henryl Baldwin, Don Ennis, and Tim Short.  They describe their music as Carolina Beach Music with a whole lotta soul!

The concert is sponsored by Haiti Help and Hope, a  non-profit organization founded in 2016, and the proceeds will go to support the children at the Lahai Roi School in Haiti.

For folks that want to have an afternoon of food, music, and fellowship while supporting Haitian school children may purchase tickets at First Bank in Pinecrest Plaza, the Market Place Restaurant, Kalawi/Ben’s Ice Cream, Highlander Farm, or may call Sylvia at 910-639-7733 or Nancy at 910-947-2306.  Advance tickets are $20 and gate tickets are $25.
