Hundreds of people came out Saturday to enjoy the sights and sounds at the annual Southern Pines Christmas parade. Favorite Christmas characters could be seen as well as a few superheroes as the parade passed by.
Kids watched in awe as marching bands beat the streets along with vintage cars and jolly Saint Nick. The Grinch even made an appearance as the parade made way down Broad Street.
