The Moore County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce an upcoming half-day training opportunity for the community – Ignite!.  On October 4th at Pinehurst Country Club from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (registration opens at 8:00 a.m.), Denise Ryan a Raleigh, North Carolina based professional speaker, will be giving a motivational presentation that will impact individuals of all professional levels.

Not your typical “motivational speaker,” Denise is genuine and real. But also, highly skilled – she holds the title of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), a designation awarded to fewer than 10 percent of professional speakers. Denise’s trademark interactive programs address workplace issues such as dealing with change, getting along with others, staying motivated and motivating others. Denise’s infectious enthusiasm motivates the unmotivated and challenges the challenged.

During this two-part session, Denise will touch on methods of helping people to navigate innovation.  A skill that is necessary in today’s ever-changing workplace.  Albert Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results. The world has changed radically in the last several years – has your company? Have you? This half-day training program is designed to help participants think in new ways and generate new ideas. It also forces leaders to consider how innovation is fostered (or not) in their organizations. This will get you thinking about game-changers for your work and your life.

Some of the topics that will be covered include:

7 Myths about Innovation

Barriers to Innovation

Lowering the Barriers to Innovation

“Denise has an infectious energy, sense of humor, and enthusiasm that will set a room ablaze.  Her methods of teaching are not only dynamic but very useful,” said Linda Parsons, President and CEO of the Moore County Chamber “We are thrilled to be able to bring this comprehensive training opportunity to Moore County for the all of the business community.”

Chamber member businesses and community leaders within Moore County interested in participating Ignite! should visit www.moorecountychamber.com to secure their seat or contact the Chamber at 910.692.3926.
