The Southern Pines Police Department’s K-9 team provided a K-9 demonstration and question and answer session for the Dog Tags of Moore County Program.

Sergeant Embler and K-9 partner, Ivy, Officer Dean and K-9 partner, Mary, Officer Powers and K-9 partner, Jaxx, Foxfire Police Chief Shue and K-9, Karma, Officer Hubbard, and the Dog Tag Students met on Tuesday at Classical Conversations warehouse building.

Southern Pines Police Department announced on social media that the students were given an overview of the life and duties of being a K-9 handler and were able to see the dogs perform an abbreviated demonstration of their remarkable skills they can perform to keep our community safe.
