Cruzin 4 Kidz Car Club, a Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore club, held a car show in May, and the money raised was designated to help children with brand new school shoes.

Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore chose the students at Pinckney Academy to receive the shoes.

Recently, Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore held the shoe event at Shoe Carnival in Aberdeen. Sixty-two pairs of shoes were given out for a total of $1,748.58.

“Thank you to Cruzin 4 Kidz and Caring Hearts for Kids Of Moore workers Heather Wright, Linda Nelson, Johnita Ellerby, Shoe Carnival employees, Pinckney Academy teachers, and the parents of the children that brought them to get their shoes,” said Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore founder Ann Kennedy. “It was a blessing to get to meet these kids. They all were so humble and appreciative. God  Bless everyone that had a hand in this event.”
