Voters came out to the polls today to vote for the Republican and Democratic primaries in Moore County. The school bond and Sandhills Community College bond was also on the ballot today.

The results are in and Moore County citizens voted for:

North Carolina Senate District 25: Tom McInnis (53.36%) who now competes against Democrat Helen Probst Mills in November.

North Carolina House of Representative 52: Jamie Boles (60.41%) won who will now challenge Democrat, Lowell Simon, this November.

Voters at the Aberdeen Lake precinct polling place today

U.S. House of Representative District 8: Frank McNeill (73.24%) won who will now face Congressman Republican Richard Hudson in the general election.

County Commissioner District III: Otis Ritter won (63.18%).

Moore County Sheriff: Ronnie Fields (56.25%) who will run in November against Democrat, Mike Connor, and unaffiliated candidate, Steve Adams.

School Bond: Passed (79.44%)

Sandhills Community College Bond: Passed (76.72%)

The general election is being held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
