Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore recently started their own car club. Cruzin 4 Kidz meets every fourth Thursday at Ruby Tuesday’s in Aberdeen from 5 – 7 pm for fellowship, cars, and for children in need in Moore County.

The car club started with just four members last June and has grown to 24 members today.

When the car club met on Thursday, they sold $132 worth of 50/50 raffle tickets, and the winner donated his winnings back to the club for the children in need.

In addition to selling raffle tickets, the car club sells t-shirts.  Local businesses sponsor the t-shirts with their names printed on the shirts.

Founder of Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore, Ann Kennedy, said, “Cruzin 4 Kidz Car Club believes in Psalms 133:1; How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.”

Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore became a registered nonprofit organization in May of 2014. They help people with a variety of needs and diverse situations by supplying school items, clothing, appliances, funiture and even finding homes and jobs in hopes that the next person will pay it forward.

Caring Hearts for Kids of Moore’s goal is “to unite the community and build communication among each other, so that we can meet each others needs and enable each of us to be there for our neighbors.”
