Barbara Jane “Bobbie” Pollitt, 59, of Southern Pines died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at First Health Hospice House in Pinehurst.
Bobbie was born in Boyonne, New Jersey on April 10, 1958 to the late John Cunningham and Eileen Bernadett Lindsay.
She is survived by her husband Chip Pollitt of 39 years and her two dogs Patch and Lulu of Southern Pines as well as several cousins.
Bobbie was employed by Moore County since 2003 and most recently worked in property management in Carthage as administration officer two.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM on Monday evening January 22 at Boles Funeral Home, 425 W. Pennsylvania Ave. Southern Pines.
Bobbie’s burial will be in Spring Hill Memory Gardens in Princess Anne, MD.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Bobbie’s name to First Health Hospice and Palliative Care, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
