Barbara Kaslow Lee, age 92, died Monday, November 27, 2017 in Pinehurst, NC.
Barbara was born in Queens, NY October 29, 1925. Growing up in Queens, Barbara married Robert Lee in 1945 and moved to Flushing, NY, where she began her life-long interest in volunteering as the secretary of the Catholic Youth Organization. Barbara and Bob then lived in Upper Saddle River, NJ. After moving to Pinehurst in 1993 they spent many happy years golfing, volunteering at many golf tournaments at the Pinehurst Country Club. She was instrumental in starting the Given Book Shop and worked there for over 10 years.
In addition to her many kind and loving friends in Pinehurst, Barbara is survived by her husband; Robert Lee, her sons and their spouses; Dennis Lee and Kathleen Kitson, Douglas Lee and Lauren Lee, grandchildren; Jenna Lee, Eamon Kitson and Cole Lee, her brother; Walter Kaslow, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at a later date.
