Annette Shore Hancock, 52, of Carthage, passed away on December 24, 2018 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Born on November 12, 1966 in Moore County to Charlie Shore and the late Christine Vaughn Shore. She married the love of her life, David on May 22, 1993. Annette worked as a bookkeeper for many years for her husband’s painting business and as a substitute teacher at Robbins Elementary School for the last several years. Annette’s true joy was caring for animals and spending time with family and friends.
Annette is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, David Junior Hancock; daughter, Laura Hancock; father, Charlie Shore; brother, Michael Shore (Erin) and nephew Walker Shore; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Hancock.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00PM at First Baptist Church, 651 Hemp Street, Robbins, NC 27325. The family will receive family and friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
Memorial donations may be made in Annette’s name to any no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
