Arthur Patrick White, age 72 of West End, NC passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Inn at Quail Haven.
Arthur was born on November 1, 1946 in Passaic, NJ to the late John White and Mary McGuire White. He was a veteran of his country and served in the United States Navy Submarine Service.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy White of West End, NC; a step-daughter, Sloane MacClugage of West End, NC and a step-son, Keith MacClugage and wife Annette of Middletown, NY. He is also survived by two brothers, Patrick White and wife Margaret of West Milford, NJ and John White and wife Sharon of Memphis, TN and two step-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 11-12:30 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines. The prayer vigil will follow at 12:30 at the funeral home. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 p.m. at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lakes, NC.
