Carmela M. Quarry, formerly of Fairview Village PA and Margate NJ, died at St Joseph of the Pines Health Center on July 5. She was born in Philadelphia on January 23, 1936 to Josephine and Dominic Gazzillo. She was a music educator and conductor for 30 years in the Plymouth-Whitemarsh School District.
Carmela was predeceased by her husband of 29 years, Robert J Quarry and her parents Dominic and Josephine . She is survived by her sisters Irma Gazzillo SSJ and Antoinette Morello, her nieces Marie Lewis ( James ) Patricia Mathias ( David ) Joanne Morello ( Nicholas ), grandnieces Emily and Irena and grandnephews Samuel, Dylan, Matthew and Zachary.
A memorial service will be announced at a future date.
