Carol Edwards Ring, age 77, of Vass, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Pinelake Health and Rehab, surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 1:30 until 2:45.
A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at 3:00 at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor John Brown officiating.
Carol was born in Sanford, North Carolina on October 11, 1941 to Harvey Lee and Ruby Oakley Edwards. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be truly missed.
She is survived by her children, Diane Seagroves (Buck), Vickie Ring (Lloyd), both of Vass, Tammy Ring of Carthage and Jeff Ring also of Vass; sister, Joyce Cook of Florida; grandchildren, Mark, Joanne, Jamie, Stephen, Cecilia, Tyler, Ruby, Jeff, Jr; step-grandchildren, Alona, Novalee; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kayla, Tucker, Wyatt, Zoey, Matthew and Kayla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Ring; parents, Harvey Lee and Ruby Oakley Edwards; brothers, Elmer and Wayne.
