Carole Sue Horne, 68, of Pinehurst NC passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning at Duke Hospital on November 14, 2019.
Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, November 17 from 2-4pm at Boles funeral home, 35 Parker Lane, Pinehurst, NC. Private services will be November 18.
Carole was born August 31, 1951 to Edna and Oscar Riggleman in The Plains, Virginia. She is survived by her husband Gene Horne and sons Todd Wilkins and Kelly Wilkins (Wynnie) and granddaughter Sarah Wilkins (Travis) and great grandson TJ Causey. She was an avid sewer and quilter, and enjoyed traveling the world with the love of her life. Carole and Gene were members of The Village Chapel in Pinehurst. They enjoyed tennis and going to their home in Myrtle Beach. For many years she was the owner operator of the The Village Deli in Pinehurst.
