Charles B. Taylor, age 83 of Southern Pines, passed away on October 28, 2018 at Reid Heart Center from circulation condition.
Born on June 26, 1935 in Marion, Ohio to the late Frank and Elizabeth Taylor. He was a proud member of the Bell Family with more than 35 years of service at both Pine Needles and MidPines Resort. He was a lifetime member of Southern Pines Elks Lodge and Sandhills Sandpipers Golf organization.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years and three days, Alice Taylor; one daughter, Teresa Obenour and one son, Bradley Obenour.
He is survived by children, Brad Taylor (Denise), Catherine Taylor Northam (Thomas, III); grandchildren, Jerel A. Woodall (Stephanie), Candice R. Lane, Daniel L. Mashburn (Teresa), Christina Laws (Darin), Leslie L. Waremburg, II (Becki) and Brett A. Waremburg; also survived by a multitude of great grandchildren including his namesake, Charles Avery Woodall.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines from 6:00-8:00PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at10:00AM at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
