Delbert Henry Kobbe, 88, of Carthage, NC, Went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 26, 2018. He had resided at Tara Plantation in Carthage for the past 10 years.
Delbert spent his early years in the northern Pennsylvania but the majority of his life was spent in the textile industry in North Carolina. Delbert had a contagious smile, great sense of humor and was a prankster. He was loved by all that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Susan (Henry) Kobbe; and his wife Ethel Myrtle (Atkins) Kobbe; He is survived by a sister, Lucille Robinson; two nephews David (Terry) Larrabee, Raymond (Ann) Robinson, niece-in-law Debra Robinson and numerous great nieces and nephews and close friend Dawn Suggs.
A graveside service will be held 10am Tuesday, October 2, at the White Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Sanford.
