Life time North Carolina resident Donald W. Ball, 56, died May 14, 2019, at his home in Lakeview, North Carolina.
At the families’ request, a visitation will be held for family and friends Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 4-6 PM at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
Mr. Ball was born November 5, 1962, in Aberdeen, North Carolina to Marvin and Harriet Ball.
He worked for Moore Regional Hospital for over 25 years as a Nursing Technician.
Donald had a vibrant and charismatic personality, which brightened the day of everyone he knew. From a young age he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors with nature. He was a self-taught musician with a beautiful voice. His favorite pastimes were running, playing a guitar and singing for family. Donald was an amazing husband and beloved father. He was a selfless and dedicated family man who always put the ones he loved before himself.
Mr. Ball is survived by his wife Alice Ball, children, Christopher and Brittany Ball, 3 grandchildren, Corbin, Quentin and Arya, his brother, Marvin Ball, sisters, Teresa Smart and Cecilia Creed.
