Mr. Elijah L. Mather of Vass passed away unexpectedly at the age of 30.
Elijah was born in Moore County on November 28, 1988. Elijah was a loving son, grandson, and brother. He dearly loved his friends and enjoyed working on cars installing electronics and sound systems. Elijah was a very intelligent man and will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bill Mather and Kenneth Cummings.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Van and Venessa Mather; his brothers and sisters, Shane, Sheena, River, Lorilia, Natasha; his grandmothers, Betty “Little Moosie” Cummings and Grandma Jack.
The family will receive friends at Crumpler Funeral Home of Aberdeen between the hours of 7:00 pm & 9:00 pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2019.
A graveside service will be held the following day at Lighthouse Mission Baptist Church Cemetery at 4:00 pm.
