Mrs. Inez Bertha McCrimmon Ross, 83 of Aberdeen, North Carolina, daughter of the late Weldon McCrimmon and Mary-Kate Craven McCrimmon was born February 7, 1936 in Hoke County, NC. She was called to take possession of her Heavenly Home peacefully on May 12, 2019 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

 Inez began her employment history of working in housekeeping and as a laundry attendant at Pinehurst Resorts, she later went to work for St. Josephs of the Pines for many years until her retirement. Inez was a family oriented, loving, kind-hearted, caring, lady. She really enjoyed her family and pleasing them in any way she possibly could. She enjoyed family get- togethers and family outings. She lived her life doing the things that she enjoyed most.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mallie Willie Ross; her daughter, Patricia Ann Ross; one great-granddaughter, Tyesha Monroe; five brothers; (her twin) Cornell McCrimmon, Roosevelt McCrimmon, Jessie McCrimmon, Robert McCrimmon, and Charles McCrimmon; and four sisters, Brenda McCrimmon, Pinie Lee Daniels, Lucille Williams, and Bobby Jean McCrimmon.

She leaves to forever cherish her memories three sons, David Ross, Timothy Ross (Renida) of Southern Pines, NC and Gregory Ross of Aberdeen, NC; five grandchildren, Cassandra Ross (Leon), Walter Ross, Terrell Hodges, Jamal Ross and Timothy Ross of Southern Pines, NC; four great-grandchildren, Olajuwan Ross, Meyounka Ross, Shaquille Ross, and Yakiera McMillan of Southern Pines, NC; one great great-grandchild, Elan Ross of Southern Pines, NC; one sister, Shirley Harris of Westbury, NY; two brothers, Johnnie Lee McCrimmon and Bobbie McCrimmon (Doretha) of Aberdeen, NC; four very special friends (The GOLDEN GIRLS), Linda Hill, Ardith McClean, Myrtle Sloan, and Delois Ingram of Southern Pines, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, May 18, 2019 at Jones and Little Funeral Home in Aberdeen, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at St. John’s Baptist Church 707 Harris Street , Aberdeen,  North Carolina, with Elder Richard Cain delivering the eulogy.  Burial will follow at Berkley Cemetery in Aberdeen, North Carolina.
