Inez Jean Rice Fish, 79, of Whispering Pines passed away peacefully on Friday, September 6th, 2019, at Elmcroft Assisted Living facility.
Inez was born on January 17, 1940 in Middletown, Ohio to the late John and Augusta Mae (Musik) Rice. She was a loving Wife and Mother, working hard to take care of her family and friends. She enjoyed fishing, shopping, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 62-year, Roger Allen Fish, son Roger E. Fish, two granddaughters; Gina Goettee (Jeremy) and their children Adashia and Marissa; Ann Schmidt (Jimmy) and their children Zack and Alyssa; one sister Lucy (Eric) Woodard, and brother Don Rice. She was … preceded in death by her son Ronald Fish, son David Fish (Mona); sisters Maxine Soward, Margaret Tubbs, Wanda Eads and Kathleen Rice; brothers Louis Rice and Joe A. Rice.
Family will accept visitors on Sunday, 8 September between 4 and 6 pm at 90 Pine Lake Drive, Whispering Pines, NC.
Services will be held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC on Tuesday, 10 September, at 10 am.
