Lilly O. Frye, 90, of Carthage passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the home of her daughter.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Carthage.
Lilly was a loving and devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She could grow anything and always had a large garden. Some say she was born with a green thumb. She always loved the outdoors and hanging her laundry outside on her clothes line. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gentry and her youngest son, David.
She is survived by her son, Steven G. Frye (Sue) of Sanford; her daughter, Lynn Blue (John) of Pinebluff; one sister, Mae Short of Sanford, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
