Mackel “Mike” Lee Reece, 66 of Seven Lakes, passed away on August 6, 2019 at his home.

Born on February 4, 1953 in Surry County to the late Perry Reece and Dale Edwards Easter. Mike retired from the Norfolk Southern Railroad. After retirement he enjoyed golfing and worked part-time for Seven Lakes Golf Club. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his seven grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Brenda Hooker and three brother-in-laws, Buddy, David and Warren Presley.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Reece; one son, Joey Reece (Sally); two step-daughters, Mandy McNeill (Jason) and Meagan Oyster (Curtis); two sisters, Joann Bennett (L.W.) and Donna Easter; brother, Ray Reece; step-father, Don Easter; mother-in-law, Myrtle Presley; grandchildren, Paxton and Kinlee Reece, Mattie and Eli McNeill, Kayla, Bella and Levi Oyster; three brother-in-laws, Tommy, Steve (Anne) and Mark (Robyn) Presley; special niece, Tonya Bennett; also survived by other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00PM at Boles Funeral Home in
Seven Lakes.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
