Ollie Mae (Coggins) Taylor, 96 of Southern Pines, passed on Thursday, July 26th 2018 at Pinehurst Health Care and Rehab in Pinehurst.
A private family burial will be held in Tarboro at a later date.
Mrs. Taylor was born December 31, 1921 in North Hamilton County, NC to the late Solomon Columbus Coggins and Inez Agnus (Adams) Coggins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Taylor and a son John Columbus Taylor.
She is survived by two sons, William Clayton Taylor and wife Hazel of Watha, NC; and James Ely Taylor and wife Patti of Concord, NC; Two daughters, Priscilla Taylor Tilson and husband Yates of Southern Pines, NC; and Ida Lucille Metcalfe and husband Robert of Roanoke Rapids, NC. Eleven grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in memory of Ollie Mae Taylor to Southern Pines First Baptist Church or to the First Baptist Church of Tarboro.
