Ruby Short Fuller, 94 years young, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

Born on July 19, 1924 in High Falls, Moore County, NC to the late Ella Scott Short and Charles Ross Short. Ruby was a homemaker who will be remembered in many ways including being resourceful, independent, strong and witty. She had a great love for the Lord and gratefulness for life.

She is survived by her step-son, Edwin E. Fuller and wife Linda of Bowling Green, KY; a brother-in-law, Foster L. Williams of Eagle Springs; a sister-in-law, Leah B. Short of Bennett and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin (Ed) P. Fuller and her siblings; Dorothy S. Williams, Clarence L. Short and wife Ruth L. Short and Shelby S. Phillips and husband Cecil Phillips.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Prosperity Friends Church, 2487 River Road, Robbins, NC. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.  The interment will be held privately by the family.
