Sharon Yvonne Baumez Pierpont, 47 years old, passed away unexpectedly on December 7th, 2017.
She is survived by her husband Jon, son Andrew, and his wife Linda and their daughter RyAnn of Colorado Springs, her daughters Taylor and Caitlyn of the home, and her parents Bill and Peggy Baumez of Richfield, NC. Also, aunts, uncles, many cousins, and friends from her travels’ as a military spouse, and those near to her home.
Sharon was a tremendous supporter of the Union Pines Marching Vikings. She enjoyed watching her daughters perform, Taylor in color guard and Caitlyn as a trumpet player.
Rather than flowers or gifts, we believe that she would prefer donations be made in her name to this amazing band program. A funeral service will be held 12 PM on Wednesday, December 13th at the Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines with a visitation to follow till 3 PM.
