The occupants in a two vehicle accident on U.S. 1 in Aberdeen Friday escaped serious injury.
The accident happened near Bonnie Brook Road at 8:50 p.m. and closed down two northbound lanes of U.S. 1.
Both vehicles, a Jeep Liberty and GMC Sierra pickup, suffered extensive front-end damage.
Moore County EMS transported two victims to the hospital with reportedly non-life threatening injuries.
Aberdeen Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
Responding to the scene were Aberdeen Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, and Aberdeen Police Department.
