With an exciting, come from behind 11-5 win over the Hoke County Bucks, the Pinecrest varsity baseball team have clinched the Sandhills 4A title and now look forward to the conference tournament beginning next week.

After scoring 3 runs to start the game, the Patriots trailed Hoke County 3-5 in the top of the 7th inning. That is when the bats came alive as they plated 8 runs for their 11th conference win with just 2 losses on the season.

The Patriots next play a non-conference game at baseball powerhouse North Davidson on Thursday before the final game of the regular season at home Friday night against Hoke County.

Pinecrest Patriots

Before the game, the team will celebrate Senior Night, an annual tradition of honoring each senior and their parents for the contributions made to the program. The Senior Night celebration will start at 6:30 p.m.
