Moore County Sheriff’s Deputies Monday arrested two Moore County people after receiving reports of a home break-in and a stolen vehicle in High Falls.

The crimes allegedly took place on River Road on Christmas day and January 5, according to a news release from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

Authorities arrested Roy Dale Yow, Jr. and Naomi Horner Riddle.

Yow, 32, from Carthage has been charged with one count of felony breaking and entering, one count of felony larceny, one count of misdemeanor larceny, one count of felony larceny of motor vehicle and one count of felony possession of stolen motor vehicle. Yow was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.

Riddle, 33, from Robbins was charged with one count of felony larceny of motor vehicle and one count of felony possession of stolen motor vehicle. Riddle was placed under a $5,000 bond.

Both suspects have a January 24 court date and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
