A Southern Pines woman was arrested on multiple drug charges.
Moore County deputies arrested Patrice Fairley Hinton, 52, on Tuesday night.
Hinton, who lives on North May Street, was charged with possession with the intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance, trafficking in opium or heroin, two counts of possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a place for controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obtaining controlled substance by prescription misrepresentation/withholding information.
Hinton was taken to the Moore County Detention Center and placed under an $85,000 secured bond.
All defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
