A tanker truck overturned early Wednesday morning in Lakeview.

The dispatched call originally came in as an unknown medical call.  Before Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue arrived on scene, dispatchers updated the call as a tanker overturned at Holly Street and Tree Road with no injuries at 3:48 am.

The cab of the truck remained on the road when it overturned and the tanker ended up in the grass off the side of the road.

A team from Chase Hazmat cleaned the scene and pumped the material in the tanker into another truck, according to Frank Staples, retired Cypress Pointe firefighter.

About 12 hours after the tanker overturned, Paradise Towing, from Sanford, turned the tanker back over and cleared the road. It is reported that no resin or fuel seeped into the soil.
