Taylortown Police Department seized over $14,000 worth of drugs in 2017, according to an annual report released by the department.

Included in the confiscated drugs were 25 dosage units of crack-cocaine, 13.5 grams of cocaine, 585 grams of marijuana and 19 marijuana plants, 14 dosage units of prescription pills, 2 units of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) wax, and four firearms.

The report said Taylortown Police recovered almost $900 in stolen property.

Patrol Officers made 62 arrests, served 29 warrants, and responded to 2,954 service calls.  Officers conducted 95 traffic stops and issued 72 tickets including one citation for driving while impaired, five citations for driving with a revoked license, and seven for speeding in excess of 15 miles per hour over the speed limit.
