The expected impact of Hurricane Florence is not even in Moore County yet, but the effects of the outer bands are being felt in the area.

Wind and rain are already causing down trees and power outages across Moore County.

Over 4,000 Moore County residents were without power Friday morning.  By Friday afternoon, the power outage jumped to almost 12,000.

More homes are losing power just as the utility companies are restoring previous power outages.
